Gustav III (or Shakspel)

This chess variant was invented by King Gustav III of Sweden (1746-92).

It is is a strange chess variant adding 4 Amazons on 4 extra squares in the corners of the board.

Played on a 8x8+4 board, 1 fairy piece:

• The Amazon: moves and captures like Queen + Knight

Each player starts with:

• 8 Pawns
• 2 Rooks
• 2 Knights
• 2 Bishops
• 2 Amazons
• 1 Queen
• 1 king

Castling: yes.

"En passant" capture: yes.
